The National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts (NTMoFA)'s special exhibition "Adventures of Colors, Forms, and Poetics: Chen Yin-Hui’s 90 Years Artist Journey (取色賦形.捨像傳神-陳銀輝90藝術歷程)," which will run through Oct. 3, launched its virtual opening ceremony on Aug. 7.

In a pre-recorded video played at the ceremony, Minister of Culture Lee Yung-te expressed that Chen has a high achievement in the art field but he has never forgotten to nourish young talents. He served at the National Taiwan Normal University for nearly 40 years until retirement and donated his pension to set up a scholarship to encourage students to persist in art field.

Liang stated that this exhibition highlights the highest respect for the predecessor artists who have contributed to Taiwan. Among which, the most important thing is to embody the artistic value and cultural heritage, and also to show the artist's character.

Chen has devoted himself to nourish Taiwanese art field for his lifetime, so-called the specific performance of "Life is short, art is forever," creating the infinite value of art and turning the meaning of art into eternity.
