National Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall

As a memorial to the Republic of China's National Father, Dr. Sun Yat-sen, the National Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall (國立國父紀念館) was constructed in 1972. The memorial hall measures 30.4 meters in height, and each side of the hall is 100 meters long with 14 gray columns supporting the yellow-tiled rooftop. It sits majestically in the center of a 100,000 square meters open space, surrounded by flowers and lawns.


The Emerald Pond (翠湖)

The pond is situated on the southwest side of Chung Shan Park, with an area of approximately 8000 square meters. Variations of flowers, including lotus and lilies, have been planted in the pond.

The Chung Shan Park Plaza (中山公園廣場)

The plaza comprises of the main hall and Chung Shan Park. The layout of the plaza is designed symmetrically, with the fountain pool aligned with the hall.

The Fountain Plaza (廣場噴泉)

The fountain situated at the front entrance of the memorial hall has become one of the important features in Chung Shan Park. The illuminating lights projected on the fountain create a mesmerizing scene during nighttime.
