Licensing Japan is one of the seven major themed trade shows of Japan's Content Tokyo, with emphasis on commercial licensing of cultural and creative promotional novelties, gaming graphics design, and comic and animation graphic designs. The exhibition brings together many brand characters and animations from Japan and other countries from all over the world.

Candidates applying for participation should be original image character creation brand or product, including graphic characters, comic art characters, illustrations, animation, and games. Online registration ends on Jan. 24.

Applicants must prepare a presentation and participate in online video recording and selection interviews. For the selected candidates, TAICCA will provide support including Japanese translation costs, social media advertising costs, and on-site Japanese translators at the exhibition, exhibition booth design assistance for both in Japan and Taiwan, in addition to educational courses, consulting, and promotional material production. After the exhibition, two brands will be selected to receive registration of Japanese trademark, with the registration expenses fully covered.

In form of the Taiwan Pavilion, the TAICCA team seeks to expand market value of Taiwan's creative content and explore access to world stage.
