The Department of Audiovisual and Music Industry Development of the Ministry of Culture is composed of four divisions. Its functions include the following:


  • Planning and promoting the nation's cultural policies in relation to the film industry.
  • Researching and revising the nation's legislation in relation to the film industry.
  • Planning and promoting the nation's cultural policies in relation to the broadcasting and television industries.
  • Researching and revising the nation's legislation in relation to the broadcasting and television industries.
  • Planning and promoting the nation's cultural policies in relation to the music industry.
  • Researching and revising the nation's legislation in relation to the music industry.
  • Supervising and guiding the nation's corporations and foundations in relation to the film, broadcasting, television, and music industries.
  • Campaigning for proper copyright usage in relation to the film, broadcasting, television, and music industries.
  • All other culture-related developments in the film, broadcasting, television, and music industries.
