The third leg of the Ministry of Culture’s “Cultural Tour: Theaters at Villages (文化平權巡演－庄頭劇場 藝日限定)” this year will take place in Pingtung County, inviting renowned Ming Hwa Yuan Arts & Cultural Group (明華園戲劇總團) to stage their classic performance “Legend of White Snake (超炫白蛇傳)” at the Liudui Memorial Park on June 8.
Dubbed a “once in a lifetime experience,” the “Legend of White Snake” attracted an audience of 50,000 during its performance in Chiayi County last year. With unparalleled stage design, extravagant audio-visual effects, and a combination of ground, stage, and aerial actions, this epic production aims to impress the audience with an immersive experience.
The show on June 8, commencing 2 p.m., will feature other 6 performing art groups, including Su’s Puppetry Theater (蘇家班掌中劇坊), Owlgg (貓頭鷹兒童劇團), TOTAL Musical Theatre (唱歌集), Tjimur Dance Theatre (蒂摩爾古薪舞集), Neo-Classical Chamber Ensemble (新古典室內樂團), and Blue Shirts Music and Dance Troupe (藍衫樂舞團).
