The 2024 Creative Expo Taiwan was officially inaugurated at the International Convention & Exhibition Center in Tainan City on Aug. 26, featuring a record-breaking 700 booths and over 570 business brands. The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of Vice President Hsiao Bi-khim (蕭美琴), Culture Minister Li Yuan, Tainan City Mayor Huang Wei-che (黃偉哲), and other distinguished guests.
Vice President Hsiao noted the significance of hosting the Expo in Tainan at the city’s 400th anniversary. She also highlighted that this year’s Expo uniquely integrates art and cultural exhibition with the business branding fair, aiming to showcase the richness of Taiwan’s culture to both domestic and international visitors.
Minister Li emphasized that the Expo is a crucial opportunity to present the diversity and vibrancy of Taiwan’s cultural sector by bringing together top artists, designers, curators, and business brands.
The Expo will host Professional Buyers’ Days on Aug. 26 and 27, and will be open to the public form Aug. 29 to Sept. 1. For more information, the Expo’s official website and Facebook page.
