On Oct. 14, Lee Ya-ping (李雅萍), Representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Tel Aviv, and Maya Yaron, Representative of the Israel Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei, signed an agreement on cultural collaboration, aimed at deepening cultural exchange and fostering a long-term partnership between the two countries.

Deputy Minister of Culture Sue Wang (王時思), Secretary General Tang Diann-wen (唐殿文) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and other distinguished guests attended the signing ceremony at the National Taiwan Museum in Taipei, witnessing a new milestone in Taiwan-Israel art and cultural development.

Sue Wang highlighted that since 1993, Taiwan and Israel have been collaborating for over three decades. She emphasized the significance of programs like the Rolling Art Project, where 20 Taiwanese and Israeli artists worked in a 24-hour relay during the pandemic. Wang hopes that the newly signed agreement would further underscore the shared values of humanity between the two nations.

The Ministry of Culture will continue to promote the bilateral cooperation between Taiwan and Israel, exploring diverse perspectives in art and culture, and bolstering the development of the cultural industries from both sides.
