The Mongolian and Tibetan Cultural Center (MTCC) is hosting the exhibition “Tea Origins & Tea Fragrance – From Taiwan to Mongolia and Tibet (茶鄉茶香-從臺灣到蒙古西藏)” until Nov. 10. Showcasing the diverse tea cultures of Taiwan, Mongolia, and Tibet, the exhibition features 221 sets of tea wares and tea mats, highlighting the far-reaching and inclusive culture of tea drinking.
The MTCC highlighted that this exhibition is divided into four themes: “Early Taiwan Tea Culture,” “Mongolian Life and Tea Culture,” “Tibetan Life and Tea Culture,” and “Taiwan’s Contemporary Ceramic Tea Sets.” By displaying the development of tea culture across different countries, the exhibition aims to showcase the history and lifestyles revolving around tea drinking in the three areas.
In addition to the main exhibition, the MTCC will hold tea ceremonies, seminars, handicraft workshops, and more throughout the exhibition period. See MTCC’s website and Facebook page for more information.
