Presently, the promotion of performing arts aims mainly at facilitating the balanced development and environment of performing arts, nurturing artistic and literary talent, and enhancing public appreciation of the performing arts.


The Ministry of Culture's promotional objectives are coupled with the goals of enhancing the standards of professional creation, as well as elevating domestic exhibitions and performances through the fostering of sustainable management in domestic professional performing groups.


In the future, the Ministry's policies will also focus on narrowing the arts and literature gap between cities and rural areas, improving the arts and literature environment, upholding the business and commercial value of performing arts, shaping the diverse styles of Taiwan's contemporary performing arts, and strengthening the nation's overall cultural competitiveness.
