Vice President recommends UK's world-class exhibition 'Tim Walker: Wonderful Things' introduced by CHIMEI Museum

Having collaborated with the UK's leading museum Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A), CHIMEI Museum introduced the world-class exhibition "Tim Walker: Wonderful Things (蒂姆.沃克:美妙事物)" until Feb. 6, 2022, featuring more than 300 works such as photographs, V&A collections, short films, photographic sets and props, scrapbooks and sketches.

This exhibition is V&A's heavyweight special exhibition and also the most important solo display in the career of the fashion photographer Tim Walker.

The organizer pointed out that the layout and design of the exhibition venue of CHIMEI Museum were planned according to the V&A setting, with the aim to allow Taiwanese audiences to appreciate this international exhibition which is loyal to the original.

Each exhibition area has a distinct situational space accompanied by Tim Walker's text with sound effects, making visitors feel as if they have entered a surreal dream. Hence, this exhibition can be called an immersive fantastical experience.

CHIMEI museum has released an exhibition recommended video, featuring British Office Taipei representative John Dennis, Vice President Lai Ching-te (賴清德), Minister of Culture Lee Yung-te, Tainan City Mayor Huang Wei-che (黃偉哲), among others.

Vice President Lai expressed gratitude to the museum in the video for actively linking up with the world and making Taiwan the first stop in Asia for this touring exhibition at any cost.

Audiences should visit during their scheduled time slot in line with the current epidemic prevention curbs. For more information, please visit CHIMEI museum's website.
