MOC unveils 'Arts FUN NEXT TO GO' vouchers

Ministry of Culture announced details of the "Arts FUN NEXT TO GO" voucher program, a supplementary measure of the Quintuple stimulus vouchers program launched by the Executive Yuan, at its press conference on Sep. 17.

To boost spending in the arts and culture sectors amid the COVID-19 pandemic, MOC issued "Arts FUN Go" electronic and paper vouchers last year. Deputy Minister of Culture Lee Ching-hwi (李靜慧) announced that a total of 3 million vouchers will be issued this year, with each valued at NT$600. She added that the winners for the vouchers will be chosen via the Executive Yuan’s platform.

The 3 million vouchers include 2.4 million sets of electronic vouchers and 600,000 sets of paper vouchers. Eligible individuals include Taiwan nationals, resident permit holders, and diplomats, among others. The paper vouchers are available to individuals over 65 years old, under 18 years old or those with disabilities.

Registration for the “Arts Fun NEXT TO GO” vouchers will open on Sep. 22, and every individual is only allowed to register for either the electronic or paper voucher.

A total of four lucky draws will be held, starting from Oct. 13, followed by Oct. 20, Oct. 27 and Nov. 3 at 3pm. Winners can claim their electronic vouchers by downloading the "Arts Fun NEXT APP" from Oct. 20 onwards, while the paper vouchers will be available for redemption from Nov. 11 onwards. The vouchers can be used from Nov. 10 until April. 30, 2022.

MOC added that, the vouchers can be used to pay for tickets to exhibitions, performances or movies; or to purchase books, records or crafts, among other arts and cultural activities.
