London-based residency program open to Taiwanese artists, curators

With the aim of fostering creativity and promoting international exchange among emerging Taiwanese artists, the Taipei Representative Office in the U.K., in continuous collaboration with the London-based Delfina Foundation, is offering a three-month residency program for a Taiwanese artist or curator which will take place from July 3 to Sep. 24 in London.

The selected candidate will engage in independent research, attend gatherings with other residents, and participate in various networking opportunities, such as visits to museums, galleries, and artists' studios. Professional guidance, including peer evaluations, portfolio consultations, and development advice, will also be provided.

Based in central London, the Delfina Foundation has a wide professional network in the UK and Europe, providing a diverse range of mentorship and consultation services. Since its inception in 2007, the foundation promotes artistic exchange and experimentation, creating opportunities for emerging and established artists, curators and writers to reflect on what they do, position their practice within relevant global discourse, create career-defining research and commissions, and network with colleagues. This year's residency program is open to both artists and curators, with no restrictions on the theme of their creative research.

Submissions will be accepted from now until Feb. 28, and will be reviewed by a committee formed by professionals such as English artists and curators. For the first round review, applicants are required to submit their portfolios. Candidates proceeding to the second round will be invited to participate in a remote interview. It is anticipated that the selection results will be announced in April. More information and application details can be found on the Delfina Foundation's website.
