Award-winning decorative crafts by outstanding Taiwanese artisans will be featured at the latest exhibition of the Presidential Art Gallery. The Presidential Art Gallery is a high-profile platform for foreign dignitaries and Taiwanese citizens to appreciate Taiwan's craft culture and originality, and the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute (NTCRI) has helped to organize 58 exhibitions at the venue during the past 16 years.
Titled "The Classic Craftsmanship of Formosa Taiwan,” the exhibition will be presented in two parts - one focusing on decorative crafts in the first half of the year and the other on practical items between July and December.

This year the displays are more decorative than practical, a change that is also seen in the selection of materials, designs, and functions. The 60 pieces will remain on display at the Presidential Art Gallery until June 30.
