The East Asia Art Research Association will hold a special exhibition to celebrate its 42nd founding anniversary at the National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall's Rui Yuan Exhibition Hall from Oct. 30 to Nov. 10.



178 pieces of art created by the association's members, including renowned artists Tsai Ting-hsin, Liu Ping-heng and Luo Fang, will be on display. The featured artworks include traditional Chinese ink paintings with landscapes, flowers, birds, people and animals, as well as some Western-style works of watercolors, pastels and oil paintings.



The East Asia Art Research Association was established in 1981 and branched out to Sydney in 1988 and to Seoul in 1990. It also maintains a presence in Japan and the United States.Its members practice a variety of arts, including traditional Chinese ink painting, calligraphy, Chinese orchestra and the art of making tea.
