The National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts (NTMOFA) in Taichung will launch a series of exhibitions and events in celebration of its 25th anniversary on June 23.
The planned events include a thank-you reception and a parent-children party that will walk visitors through the museum's latest achievements in exhibitions, research, collections and educational programs.
25 films that showcase the museum's history and beauty will also be screened on that day.
Several special exhibitions, including "On Site: A Centennial Retrospective of Robert Capa,” will remain open to public after the anniversary date.
Established in 1988 as the only national-level museum of fine arts in the country, the NTMFA will also be delivering 1,000 limited-edition gifts to visitors who were born in 1988 or in June at the celebration party on June 23.
