- The treasure trunks of Fu Hsing Ko Shadow Puppet Troupe (復興閣皮影戲團) contain hundreds of shadow puppets created by more than three generations of puppeteers.
- The best cowhides are soaked in limewash to achieve a tanned tone and thinness, and handcrafted to give each puppet its unique character. Large, round eyes are given to twistedpersonalities while thinner eyes denote good character.
- The troupe have trained several accomplished apprentices over the years, including Anne Riston (李安寧), who is now a professional Chinese shadow puppeteer based in France.
