- All travelers to Taiwan will have their passports stamped with the calligraphy art of Tong Yang-tze (董陽孜). The National Immigration Agency commissioned the master calligrapher to pen the Chinese characters for the nation's official entry/departure stamps in 2013.
- Tong created the calligraphy used for Taiwanese pop star Jay Chou's (周杰倫) "Lanting Xu (蘭亭序)” music video.
- Her calligraphy art has also been featured in several prominent films, including art house film "Visage (臉)” by Malaysia-born, Taiwan-based director Tsai Ming-liang (蔡明亮), "Beyond Beauty: Taiwan from Above (看見台灣)” by Taiwanese documentary maker Chi Bo-lin (齊柏林), and "The Grandmaster (一代宗師)” by Cantonese director Wong Kar-wai (王家衛).
