The Cultural Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Thailand was established in July 2017. Thailand was chosen for its position as a regional cultural hub and its growing networks with Southeast Asian communities.
The Cultural Division aims to deepen Taiwan-Thailand cultural relations and establish dialogue with the international community, cooperate with local art institutions and participate in cultural festivals, and promote mutual understanding and learning through cultural exchanges.
The Cultural Division hopes to facilitate exchanges through such events as film screenings, art and music performances, literary translations, exhibitions, craft workshops, museum partnerships, and heritage awareness. Thai artists, groups, and cultural professionals are also welcomed to seek collaboration through this office.
