To expand Taiwan's regional licensing network, the Ministry of Culture will organize a Taiwan Pavilion under the banner "Fresh Taiwan” to join the Hong Kong International Licensing Show running from Jan. 9 through 11.

A total of ten creative brands and thirteen original characters were selected through an international expansion program held by the Ministry to promote the overseas licensing of Taiwan designs and illustrations.

"Fresh Taiwan” will introduce creative brands such as Arch88 Technology's "Stubon (史都幫),” a group of animal characters who embark on an adventurous journey; HIM International Music's "Wan Wan (彎彎),” alter ego of the eponymous illustrator known for her love for food and dogs; and ACTUNG's "Riceman (米粒大叔),” an anthropomorphic grain of rice.

Other unique characters will include "MaoMaoChong (毛毛蟲)” and "Wei Teng (微疼)” by Indot Image (毛毛蟲創意行銷有限公司), "MunaiKuma (無奈熊)” by Character company, "WinBrothers (二允兄弟)” by Wind Design, "MyDeerDog (狗與鹿)” and "CHU CHU MEI (啾啾妹)” by Weido International Co., Ltd, "PeaQuin (皮寬)” by HESTIA, and "Pang Pang Jiao (胖胖蕉)” by Sambar Deer.

In addition, Taiwan Pavilion will showcase two illustrated books by Taiwanese artist afu - "One Hundred Kinds of Lives of Animals (毛寶貝的一百種生活)” and "Secret Scenery in Taiwan (台灣森林秘境).”

Hong Kong International Licensing Show, the largest IP-trading show in Asia, serves as a marketing platform for licensors, agents, and brand owners to promote their products and search for licensing opportunities.

By joining the trade fair, the Ministry of Culture hopes to share the creativity of Taiwan and enrich Asia with diverse images that embody Taiwanese cultural elements through a broader licensing network.
