Open Call for Taiwanese curators to attend Curatorial Intensive in Bangkok

The Taipei Cultural Center in New York is offering a scholarship for a Taiwanese curator (based in Taiwan) to attend a Curatorial Intensive (CI) at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok Oct. 22-28, 2018. The scholarship covers the program fee and includes a stipend for travel and accommodation expenses. Applications will be accepted through Aug. 12, 2018. 

Organized by Independent Curators International (ICI), a non-profit organization in New York known for producing exhibitions, publications, research and training opportunities for curators and diverse audiences around the world, this weeklong program include seminars, site visits, individual meetings and roundtables that will be led by some of the most eminent names in the field, such as Zoe Butt (Artistic Director, The Factory Contemporary Arts Centre, Ho Chi Minh City), Gridthiya Gaweewong (Artistic Director, Jim Thompson Art Center, Bangkok), Mami Kataoka (Chief Curator, Mori Art Museum, Tokyo), Renaud Proch (Executive Director, ICI), and Mari Spirito (Founding Director, Protocinema, Istanbul).
