Taiwanese artist Chen Pei-hsiu (陳沛珛) has been selected for the 2016-2017 residency program at la Maison des Auteurs in the French region of Angouleme, host of the Angouleme International Comics Festival.
Born in 1986, Chen graduated from the National Taiwan Normal University's Fine Arts program. She is currently working as a freelance illustrator from home, where she is accompanied by her furry pets. She usually writes the narrative before working on the illustration.
