Cultural Division, Taipei Economic and Cultural Center in India
The Cultural Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Center in India was established in February 2020 as the first-ever platform for cultural exchanges between Taiwan and South Asia. Through performing arts, visual arts, museums, films, music, literature, and artist residency projects, the Cultural Division hopes to strengthen the cultural relations between Taiwan and India.
The Cultural Division endeavors to host Taiwanese cultural festivals in India, build collaborative networks for art communities from both regions, and showcase Taiwan's creativity in the fields of art and culture. It also strives to introduce different facets of Taiwan to members of the general public in India and neighboring South Asian countries.
