Taiwanese independent curator Fiona Hsu Yu-lun (許祐綸) was selected to join the Curatorial Intensive (CI) Indonesia 2024 program, an international art curators exchange and training program launched by the Independent Curators International (ICI). The program will take place from Feb. 26 to Mar. 6.

The New York-based ICI is an important international curator organization, connecting curators, artists, and art spaces around the world through launching exhibitions, publications, research, and training programs.

The CI program is one of the main initiatives of the ICI. Inaugurated in 2010, it was participated by over 500 curators from 70 countries, forming a robust international art network. This year, it collaborates with the in-tangible Institute in Thailand, the Indonesian Visual Art Archive in Yogyakarta, and the Bali Purnati Center for the Arts in Bali to launch the intensive training program, selecting 14 young curators from 110 submissions.

Fiona Hsu Yu-lun is an independent art curator based in Taipei, Taiwan. In recent years, she has been involved in the Southeast Asian art community and participating in interdisciplinary art projects. Her works include launching the artistic co-creation project “Not Just Love Stories (移動羅曼史)” with the participation of the community of Southeast Asian immigrants in Taiwan, as well as collaborating in the international arts initiative with the Prayoon for Art Foundation in the Loei Art Festival in Thailand.
