Taiwan crafts to make first foray to Singapore fair

The National Taiwan Craft Development and Research Institute (NTCRI) will lead outstanding Taiwan craft brands to join IFFS, Asia's leading furniture fair based in Singapore, for the first time this March.

Under the banner "Enjoy at Home,” the Taiwan pavilion will create an enjoyable and welcoming atmosphere, with quality and exquisite home crafts decorating the venue for visitors to feel like home.

The outstanding and award-winning Taiwan brands this year include A.M. IDEAS (凌晨工作室), TENMOKU STARRING (天目熒星), Mufun design studio (木趣設計工作室), DAQI Concept (大器創意), Taiping Blue (太平藍), ARTiFEX collection (匠藏工坊), and Eguchi Toys (江口設計).

They will be presenting in Singapore a wide range of exquisite products for home, such as wooden high chairs with animal designs, table lanterns, wooden tape dispensers, mirror sets, dyed handbags, and ceramic plates.

Established in 1981, the International Furniture Fair Singapore is one of the largest trading platforms and design-oriented furniture fairs in Asia. It provides a channel for Southeast Asian brands to enter international markets and offers insights on the latest world design trends.

In conjunction with the ASEAN Furniture Show (IFFS/AFS), IFFS will also launch a newly re-branded pavilion called "Nook Asia” this year, which will bring together a comprehensive collection of furniture, accessories, and crafts for home decor.

Last year, IFFS/AFS was joined by a total of 423 brands from 29 countries, attracting 20,343 buyers and 87 purchase teams from 92 countries. The number of buyers increased by 8% last year, with 25% of them from Europe and the United States, offering Asian companies a great opportunity to expand their market reach.

By joining the international fair, NTCRI hopes to promote Taiwan's quality crafts industry, connect Taiwan's market with international networks, and create more collaborative opportunities.
