Taiwanese band Go Go Machine Orchestra has been invited to perform on May 4 and 5 at the FOCUS Wales 2023 in England. This marks the first stop of their European tour, which will be followed by tours in North America and Asia.

FOCUS Wales, an international multi-venue showcase festival, will welcome 20,000 music fans and more than 250 artists from around the world over three days in Wrexham between May 4 and 6. Before the event kicks off, the band is scheduled to have a free-of-charge warm-up performance at London's Shacklewell Arms on May 2, sharing their amazing sound with audiences in London.

Formed in Kaohsiung in 2017, the four members of Go Go Machine Orchestra are Tang Ni-li (湯妮莉), Wang Pin-hsin (王品心), Chen Kuan-yin (陳冠穎), and Yeh Ting-chun (葉庭均). Combining multiple musical elements, their music is composed of piano, percussion, guitar, electronic instruments and module synthesizer, especially known for the style of minimalism. The band aims to explore new music forms by integrating synthesizers representing the 1960s into contemporary electronic instruments, and string instruments into percussion, as well as developing futuristic pop music from contemporary classical music.

FOCUS Wales is a not-for-profit organization established to provide an annual new music showcase event for the Welsh Music Industry. It shines a spotlight on emerging talents from Wales and around the globe, including artists from Australia, Canada, Japan, and Madagascar. Entering its 12th edition, the festival will take place across more than 20 stages in a variety of spaces and music venues and also host a full schedule of interactive industry sessions, arts events, and film screenings throughout the event.
