The Cultural Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Spain, in collaboration with LUCfest and an independent culture agency 9-Kick, will be presenting Taiwan's experimental music band Lilium (百合花) and hip-hop music artist Chunyuan (春艷) at Primavera Pro in Barcelona. Both Lilium and Chunyuan will be performing at the Day Pro stage of the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB) and the Night Pro stage of the Parc del Forum on June 2, bringing a total of four performances to the local fans.

The renowned Primavera Sound is widely considered one of the best music festivals in Spain, attracting music fans from all over the world and selling over 200,000 tickets annually. The segment that Lilium and Chunyuan will be participating in is specially designed for music industry professionals and it charges premium prices for the tickets.

Chunyuan, best known for his magical peculiar performance looks and unique style, is under the wing of KAO!INC. (顏社), a Taiwanese hip-hop label. He previously won the Golden Indie Music Awards for Best Hip Hop Album. Lilium is a renowned Taiwanese band that performs a wide range of music and specializes in mixing traditional instruments such as the Beiguan and Nanguan (translated as northern and southern pipe instruments) with rock, blues, and funk music. They previously received the "Best Taiwanese Album" of the Golden Melody Award.

The Primavera Sound, Spain's iconic music festival, serves not only as a channel for Taiwanese pop music to reach out to European audiences but is also an important stepping stone to the Latin American market. The Cultural Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Spain stated that it will continue to work with the local music industry, and hope that participating in the music festival will help them to build up contacts and expand the possibilities for cooperation and exchange in the future.
