Collaborating with the Taiwan Cultural Center in Paris, the Fondation Fiminco is launching a call for applications for a 4-month creative and production residency in Romainville, Seine-Saint-Denis department, France, from Sept. 15, 2024, to Jan. 15, 2025.
The Fondation Fiminco was established by Groupe Fiminco in 2017 to support contemporary art and champion cultural equity in Paris. By reusing the old factories in Romainville, a commune in the eastern suburbs of Paris, the foundation provides a working space for artists around the globe to develop and showcase their creations.
In the residency program, the successful candidate will be presented with various opportunities to interact with local and international professionals, through events such as open studio, museum and gallery visits, and cultural field trips in the Greater Paris area, to meet artists, curators, gallery owners, scholars, and art critics from France and beyond.
The applications are open from now until Feb. 29 to all Taiwanese artists working in new media and digital art, with an established career and no age limit. For more information, please visit Fondation Fiminco’s website.
