The 2024 Taiwan Art Week in Madrid, scheduled to run from Mar. 6 to 10, will showcase seven Taiwanese artists. This event will be spread across three contemporary art fairs – Art Madrid, Hybrid Art Fair, and UVNT Art Fair, offering Spanish art enthusiasts a glimpse into the diverse art scene of Taiwan.
Participating in Art Madrid will be Huang Shun-ting (黃舜廷), Lin Shih-yung (林世雍), and Hsiao Sheng-chien (蕭聖健); Chen Sheng-wen (陳聖文) will be featured in Hybrid Art; while Keng Chieh-sheng (耿傑生), Sun Pei-mao (孫培懋), and Wang Guan-jhen (王冠蓁) will exhibit their works in the UVNT Art Fair.
Augusta Chang (張祐瑄), Director of the Cultural Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Spain, expressed the hope that by showcasing the works of seven Taiwanese artists across three different art fairs, they can highlight Taiwan’s unique perspectives and artistic styles.
