Taiwan Spotlight featured in Festival Programme Commune in Switzerland

The Festival Programme Commune in Lausanne, Switzerland, is currently hosting a series of Taiwan Spotlight events, presenting a diverse array of cultural showcases from Taiwan encompassing theater, photography, films, and music. This festival runs from Mar. 14 to June 22.

The Festival Programme Commune was established in 2015 by Platforme 10, Theatre Vidy-Laussane, Arsenic - Centre d'art scénique contemporain, and Theatre Sevelin 36. As a prestigious art exchange platform in Switzerland, its main mission is to share both accomplished and rising creators in theater, dance, performance, and visual arts.

Hu Ching-fang (胡晴舫), the director of the Taiwan Cultural Center in Paris (CCTP), noted that this year marks the 30th anniversary of CCTP's founding. She emphasized that with the Olympics approaching, hosting the Taiwan Spotlight event in Lausanne, the Olympic capital where the International Olympic Committee is located, offers an exciting opportunity to spotlight Taiwan's culture on the international stage.
