With support from the Ministry of Culture (MOC), this year’s Association of Performing Arts Professionals (APAP) Conference and International Society for the Performing Arts (ISPA) Congress will feature the most comprehensive lineup of Taiwanese artists and groups to date. The APAP Conference will be held from Jan. 10 to 14, followed by the ISPA Congress from Jan. 14 to 16, both in New York.

The lineup includes the National Taichung Theater, National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts (Weiwuying), Unique Puppet Theater (不貳偶劇), Jin Kwei Lo Puppetry Company (真快樂掌中劇團), Puppet and Its Double (無獨有偶工作室劇團), Resident Island Dance Theater (滯留島舞蹈劇場), Hung Dance (翃舞製作), and more.

The APAP Conference is premier gathering of performing arts professionals in the U.S, offering the opportunities, connections, and information for artists to thrive. The event will present a diverse range of seminars, performances, and exhibitions.

Notably, “Peter Pan,” a production by Hung Dance commissioned by the National Taichung Theater, has been selected for the highly competitive UP NEXT! Artist Pitch Session at APAP. The team will travel to key performance venues across North America to pitch for touring opportunities.

Additionally, the Taipei Cultural Center in New York is collaborating with ISPA to host the Taiwan Fellowship Program, which brings four Taiwanese representatives—Hsu Tzu-yin (許慈茵), Chen Wen-chen (陳玟臻), Lin Chih-wei (林智偉), and Lo Yin-ju (羅尹如)—to participate in the congress.
