Together Taiwan: 2019 Taiwan Arts Festival in Hong Kong

The 2019 Taiwan Arts Festival in Hong Kong — themed "Together Taiwan" — took place from Oct. 4 to Nov. 19, covering a total of 47 days, 16 projects, and 57 events and attracting 31,028 participants.

The Kwang Hwa Information and Culture Centre offers its most sincere gratitude to each and every person involved. As a joint endeavor amongst many artists and organizations, the 2019 Taiwan Arts Festival served as an open and free platform blooming with talent, creating countless moving and wonderful memories.

This year's festival featured three main programs, respectively titled "The Masters: Refined by Time," "The Platform: Interactions of Collaborations," and "The New: Voices of Diversity."

From inheriting the artistic essence and wisdom of great masters and showcasing explosive cultural collaborations between Taiwan and Hong Kong, to celebrating the innovative and diverse voices of a new generation, the 2019 edition spotlighted artistry in film, dance, theater, music, visual arts, new media art, design, animation, and literature.

The Kwang Hwa Information and Culture Centre is honored to have shared Taiwan's rich arts and culture with the world and demonstrate the infinite possibilities of Taiwan-Hong Kong cultural collaboration. It is hoped that these deep exchanges can continue to create new opportunities for both cultures.

Let's join hands through the arts to bring gentle strength to Hong Kong!
