"Clapping, For more?," a cross-national collaborative work with support from the Ministry of Culture, Cultural Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Germany, and the German dance festival Facing The Dance, was performed at Theaterruine St. Pauli, a church in Saxony, Germany, on April 26. The performing group received a positive response from the audience for their performance and was also invited to perform at future events, which in turn opened up future international collaboration opportunities for Taiwan.

With the support of MOC's Spotlight Taiwan Project (台灣文化光點計畫), "Clapping, For more?" was jointly created by Taiwanese artist Fu Ya-wen (傅雅雯), choreographer Chuang Chun-kai (莊凱竣), Spanish sound artist Daniel Romero, and German dancer Seraphine Detscher. Through experimental collaboration and multidimensional discussions, the four artists integrate multiple elements to bring unique discussions, conflicts, and fusion to the work. The non-inertial creative process inadvertently changes the way the creators and the audience think. This cross-national collaborative project between Taiwan, Spain, and Germany once again showcases Taiwan's new generation of artistic forms and practices to the international community.

Focused on the themes of "clapping" and "echoing," the performance utilized media technology to create a fully immersive surround sound experience for the audience, allowing them to connect with the performers and resonate with the performance. Set against the backdrop of a church destroyed during World War II, the dancer, surrounded by virtual hands, performs solo on the stage while searching for self-discovery through graceful movements. The sound traces generated by the act of touching were experimentally amplified to highlight the various indistinctive motives behind the clapping process. Meanwhile, the audience was prompted to reflect on the significance of palms in interpersonal communication and to challenge existing stereotypes, thus forming a new awareness of communication.
