The Ministry of Culture, the Cultural Division of the Taipei Representative Office in Germany, and Lithuania’s Asian Arts Centre jointly organized the “Taiwan on Screen” film festival, which took place from Nov. 3 to Nov. 8. This year, the screening event was extended to Lithuania’s second-largest city Kaunas, alongside the capital city Vilnius.

The festival featured several Taiwanese films including “Coo-Coo 043 (一家子兒咕咕叫),” “Day Off (本日公休),” “Father (紅盒子),” “Demigod: The Legend Begins (素還真),” and “Zone Pro Site (總鋪師),” among others.

The Cultural Division of the Taipei Representative Office in Germany said that they sent four glove puppets to Lithuania to complement the two films —“Father” and “Demigod”— relating to glove puppetry. Through these puppets, they noted, the Lithuanian audience could appreciate the delicate fabrics and accessories created for the shows.
