‘Taiwan Story Island’ showcased at 61st Bologna Children’s Book Fair

The 61st Bologna Children’s Book Fair took place from April 8 to 11, with the Taiwan Pavilion, designed by curator Page Tsou (鄒駿昇), transforming the exhibition area into “Taiwan Story Island.” This pavilion showcased Taiwan’s diverse cultural landscape through nearly 300 publications from the country.

This year, the Bologna Children’s Book Fair featured 1,500 exhibitors from 100 countries and regions, with the central theme of “The Sea.” The Taiwan Pavilion displayed books in several categories, including “The Sea,” to echo the central theme, along with “Award-winning Books,” “Recommended Titles,” and “Featured Publishers.”

Joining Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA), the organizer of Taiwan Pavilion, artists Croter Hung (洪添賢), Chen Pei-hsiu (陳沛珛), Maniniwei (馬尼尼為), and Jheng Yuan-cin (鄭元欽) were present as featured illustrators, interacting and sharing with the visitors.
