'Mi'aputr: People Who Wear a Wreath'

“Mi’aputr: People Who Wear a Wreath” is a special exhibition featuring the Puyuma community of Pinaski (卑南族下賓朗部落) that will run at the National Museum of Prehistory in Taitung from July 27 through May 21, 2017.

During museum hours throughout August, as well as every Friday to Sunday during September and October, youth members of the Pinaski community will be stationed at the exhibition venue and engage visitors with information about the tribe. From learning how to make flower wreaths to listening to tribal stories such as how a teen becomes a man after receiving tribal trainings, the exhibition hopes to encourage the public to connect with the Puyuma culture.

More information on the exhibition can be found here.
