'Dreams, Habitations – Young Artist Collection Exhibition'

An exhibition of works by young artists titled “Dreams, Habitations” will kick off at the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts from Dec. 19 through March 6, 2016.

Among the museum’s collection of 888 works by artists born in the 1970s, a total of 77 works are selected to be displayed in the exhibition under 3 themes – “Lost and Wandering: the Reorganization of Inner Order and the Need for Private Space,” “Reality and De-reality: Abnormal Daily Environment,” and “Future Fable: Seeking the Unknown Habitation.”

The exhibition will explore how youths of today face and respond to the contemporary life and the future based on self reflection. As these artists look into their uncertainty caused when searching for a better and steadier future, their artworks reflect the close relation between their creative sources and the changing environment.
