In collaboration with the C.F. Koo Foundation, the Ministry of Culture initiated the "TaiwanEYE Online Showcase" project to help promote 10 Taiwanese performing arts troupes during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Teatro de marionetas de Formosa" — an unprecedented overseas showcase of over 180 pieces of Asian puppetry artifacts from Taiwan — has now been made available as an online exhibition in five languages.
The 2020 Yokohama Triennale in Japan will be showcasing the works of three Taiwanese interdisciplinary artists — Zhang Xu-zhan, Joyce Ho, and Aluaiy Pulidan.

National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra announces its 2020-21 season lineup
The National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra (NTSO) announced on July 16 its 2020-21 season highlights, which will feature 23 musical repertoires of the Series of Nature, the Series of Beethoven's Symphonies, and the Maestro Series, giving 50 performances around the island.
Taiwan, Australia ink pact for joint sponsorship of ceramic art exhibition
The Cultural Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Sydney and Australian non-profit organization 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art (4A) signed their first feasibility agreement on July 22 for joint sponsorship of an Australia-based exhibition on ceramic art. Titled "Drawn by stones," the exhibition is expected to take place in 2021.
Yu You-ren Calligraphy Heritage Exhibition
To mark cursive script calligraphy master Yu You-ren's (1879-1964) 141st birthday, the National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, and the Taipei-based Chinese Standard Cursive Script Association are presenting the "Yu You-ren Calligraphy Heritage Exhibition" at SYSMH gallery from July 18 through August 2.

Freelance videomaker Hsu Hui-ju often focuses on life stories and uses the people, things, and events around her as her subject matter. Her works are often described as "a calm insight into the absurdity of the world we live in, reflecting a kind of warmth within a tone of extreme cold."
