Creative Expo Taiwan (CET), Taiwan's most important creative merchandise and image licensing platform, will be held in Taipei in 2021 from Apr. 21 to 25, and is accepting exhibitor applications until Jan. 18.
The inaugural Queer East Film Festival will take place online and in-cinemas across the U.K., with Taiwan as the country of focus, showcasing our rich tradition of LGBTQ+ filmmaking with 10 feature films and 8 short films.
Taiwanese contemporary sculpture artist Hong Yi will simultaneously hold solo exhibitions at Taipei 101 in Taiwan, Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias in Spain, and Artspace K in Hong Kong through Feb. 28.

TPAC named
Taipei Performing Arts Center (TPAC) has been selected by CNN Style, a website that mainly covers design and architecture topics, one of its "most anticipated buildings opening or completing in 2021."
President Tsai Ing-wen recommended "The Everlasting Bloom – Rediscovering Taiwanese Modern Art" exhibition which is on view at the Museum of National Taipei University of Education (MoNTUE), saying that the artworks by Taiwanese and Japanese artists in the early 20th century have transcended time and continued to shine through today.
"A Sun" receives acclaim from American film critics
The 2019 Taiwanese drama film "A Sun" directed and co-written by Chung Mong-hong has received high acclaim from American film critics Peter Debruge and David Ehrlich.

In 2015, Citilens Studio began independently publishing "Pork Ball Soup," a quarterly magazine which introduces different aspects of life in Hsinchu. The team also hopes to build an online platform with the functions of storytelling, data collection and participation.
