The Museum of Arts Crafts-ITAMI has selected 17 up-and-coming designers to showcase their works and present Taiwan's culture and art to the Japanese public.
"Shifting Momentum," the first survey of Taiwanese abstract art packaged as an exhibition, opens at the Noyes Museum of Art of Stockton University in New Jersey.

Taiwan unveils new museum dedicated to human rights
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on May 18 for the newly launched National Human Rights Museum, which can be seen as Taiwan's contribution to the international promotion of human rights and a tribute to the importance of museums.
NTM to look after presidential artifacts
The National Taiwan Museum has been commissioned to receive and preserve cultural artifacts from the presidential and vice presidential collection. Upon transfer from Academia Historica, these artifacts will soon be displayed for the public to enjoy.
