Taiwan, Thailand exchange railway culture
With plans underway for transforming Bangkok's Hua Lamphong Railway Station into the Railway Museum of Thailand, the State Railway of Thailand and Thai Railway Foundation joined a two-day cultural forum organized by Taiwan this June.
Yilan kicks off exhibition on veteran puppetry group
The Yilan-based National Center for Traditional Arts is holding a special exhibition on Hsin Hsing Ku Puppet Show Troupe, a veteran troupe that stood testimony to the development of puppet theater in Taiwan for over a century.
Crafts show highlights inheritance and innovation
The National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute is holding a crafts exhibition to show how new generations of artisans have undergone the process of inheritance and revival of traditional craftworks to creating innovative designs.
