JOINT OPERA PRODUCTION TO SHOW IN JAPAN

“The Firmiana Rain,” a modern romantic opera jointly produced by creative professionals from Taiwan and Japan, will be performed at the Minato Mirai Concert Hall in Japan’s Yokohama Prefecture on June 21.


TAIWANESE COMPOSITIONS IN MANHATTAN

“Her Show / Show Her” is a digital media exhibition featuring Taiwanese artist Tsau Saiau-yue, one of the four local artists selected by the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts’ Digital Art Creation competition program.


'WU HSIU-LI SOLO EXHIBITION'

A solo exhibition featuring ink wash painter by Wu Hsiu-li will be held at the National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall to showcase exemplary ink wash paintings from her forty-year career.


'GLOBAL MUSIC FESTIVAL: LIVE HOUSE CONCERTS'

A total of six mini-concerts will be held ahead of the Golden Melody Awards to celebrate the role that live houses play in providing stage time for up-and-coming music artists.


'EVACUATION OF THE DACHEN ISLANDS'

A photography exhibition on the historical evacuation of the Dachen Islands, which saw 15,000 Nationalist troops and civilians relocate to Taiwan proper in 1955, is now showing at the National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall.
