LACQUER ARTS JOIN PARIS DESIGN FESTIVAL

More than 30 lacquer artworks from a Taiwan-based transnational program will be displayed in French gallery Espace Modem from June 1 to 7 as part of the annual “2015 D’Days” Paris Design Festival.

2015 TAITUNG POETRY FESTIVAL

A poetry festival will kick off on June 6 in Taitung's Tiehua Music Village as part of “A New Wave of Reading,” a nationwide program organized by the Ministry of Culture to promote the habit of reading.


CULTURE MINISTER ANNOUNCES JAPAN VISIT

Minister of Culture Hung Meng-chi will travel to Japan to attend the opening ceremony of the Taiwan Cultural Center in Tokyo on June 12. The grand opening will kick off with the launch of the 2015 Taiwan Culture Week in Japan.
