moCa Cleveland is presenting a group of seminal works by famed Taiwanese artist Lee Mingwei as the centerpiece of its 50th anniversary suite of exhibitions.

2019 Taiwan Traditional Theatre Festival kicks off
Now entering its second year, the 2019 Taiwan Traditional Theatre Festival will host exciting productions from 10 diverse range of styles — including Taiwanese opera, Peking opera, classical Chinese music, Hakka opera, Yu opera, and traditional Taiwanese glove puppetry — from March 28 through June 2 in Taipei.
Puppetry master to perform at Taipei festival
Puppetry master Chen Hsi-huang, who is revered as a "National Living Treasure" of Taiwan, will perform the "Legend of Nian Gengyao" from April 12 to 14 at the Taiwan Traditional Theatre Center in Taipei as part of the second edition of the annual Taiwan Traditional Theater Festival.

Shih-hui Chen is a Taiwan-born composer based in the United States. The long duration of her expatriate life, combined with a sense of homesickness, inspired her to re-study the music of Taiwan and introduce her findings to international audiences.

Yang Ya-che is an up-and-coming filmmaker from Taiwan whose works span television commercials, TV dramas, documentaries, short films, and feature films. Yang has earned several Golden Horse nominations and awards for his directorial works.
