Culture Minister Shih Che, along with Pingtung County Mayor Chou Chun-mi, paid a visit to Pingtung County on March 12, and inspected a number of historical sites that had undergone restoration under the Reconstruction of Historical Scenes project as well as exchanged ideas with local cultural and creative entrepreneurs.
The Taiwan Film and Audiovisual Institute (TFAI) collaborates with Cloud Gate Dance Theatre for its 50th anniversary to present a cross-disciplinary film festival titled "Motion & Image: Five Film Conversations with Cloud Gate Dance Theatre," allowing the audience to relive their dance works on screen.
The works of two Taiwanese artists, Ohau Chen and Wu Siou-ming, took home the Arte Laguna Prize at the international art and design competition in Venice on March 11. This year, 240 artists from 50 countries exhibited their works at the event, including 8 Taiwanese artists whose works were shortlisted for the award.
