World Book Day marked with year-long digital tours
For World Book Day, the Ministry of Culture has rolled out a series of online tours to connect readers with Taiwan's land, culture, and literature during the COVID-19 crisis. The physical tours will resume when the pandemic is under control.
Golden Melody Awards postponed to October
Taiwan's star-studded Golden Melody Awards (GMAs) ceremony has been rescheduled from June to October amid travel restrictions and safety concerns. The announcement of this year's nominees will also be pushed back to mid-July.
Taiwan launches digital platform for exploring art
To make art more accessible amid the coronavirus epidemic, the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute launched a platform for online exhibitions using 3D and VR technology, offering a way of exploring culture from home.
