Taiwan was invited by "Chroniques," the Biennale of Digital Imagination, to be the guest of honor for the 2020 year edition, featuring 11 of Taiwan's outstanding new media artists and Kaohsiung-based VR Film Lab.
"Incurable Nostalgia," a multimedia project including film, videos, drawings, and sculpture, which artist Nung-Hsin Hu created during her residency at the 18th Street Arts Center and will be exhibited at the Atrium Gallery in Santa Monica, CA thru Jan 2021.
The inaugural Queer East Film Festival will take place online and in-cinemas across the U.K., with Taiwan as the country of focus, showcasing our rich tradition of LGBTQ+ filmmaking with 10 feature films and 8 short films.

2021 TiBE Prize and Award winners
The Taipei Book Fair Foundation announced winners of the 2021 Taipei International Book Exhibition (TiBE) Book Prizes and the 17th Golden Butterfly Awards for book design.
"Taiwan Crafts Workshop" certification ceremony
A total of 25 craft artists received the "Taiwan Crafts Workshop" certification from Premier Su Tseng-chang at a certifying ceremony held at the Taipei Branch of NTCRI.
Traditional performing artists gather for year-end party
The National Center for Traditional Arts hosted a year-end party, inviting many master artists and scholars of traditional performing arts, including Taiwanese opera, and Nanguan and Beiguan musicians, who gave heartwarming impromptu performances.

An iconic Taiwanese circus team, FOCA combines the traditional skills of Chinese acrobatics, the innovations, aesthetics, and spirit of contemporary circus, and a diversified business model, setting many Taiwan circus records.
Formosa Circus Art
In 2016, Huang Hai-hsin gave a rapturous, well-received exhibition of her painting series "A Museum Show" in New York, and using a playful, humorous brushwork, she depicted the various types of people visiting museums, from people in long queues, those glued to their phones, to glamorous ladies from the Upper East Side.
