Taiwanese artists Chang Hsin-yu, Tuan Mu, Lee Chen-an, Chou Po-ching, and National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University Associate Professor Hou June-hao will attend the CURRENTS New Media—Art & Technology Festival in Santa Fe, U.S.
With support from the Ministry of Culture (MOC), Authors’ Reading Month is being held in Poland through June 22. The event brings 16 Taiwanese writers to engage Central European readers.
The Taiwan Academy in Los Angeles, in collaboration with The Music Center, is presenting “Life in Motion”, an interactive digital installation by Taiwanese artist Po-Hao Chi, on view through June 28.

The Creative Expo Taiwan 2026 will open with a curated cultural exhibition at the Taiwan Contemporary Culture Lab (C-LAB) from Aug. 1 to 31, followed by its creative brands and IP licensing exhibition at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center.

The National Museum of Taiwan Literature (NMTL) released two Spanish-language anthologies of Taiwanese literature: “Antología de cuentos taiwaneses contemporáneos” and “Antología de la poesía taiwanesa contemporánea.”

The Ministry of Culture (MOC) held the National Languages Development Convention 2026 on June 13 and 14 in Tainan, bringing together government officials, scholars, NGOs, and representatives from diverse language communities.

Cheng began teaching fine art at a public school in 1952, where he showcased his creativity in teaching for over 25 years. He not only deepened fine art education in schools across Taiwan but also developed innovative and engaging teaching methods. For instance, he employed picture books to guide his students in creative writing.

Since its founding in 2014, the Colony has transformed traditional agricultural architecture into a multifaceted hub for artistic creation, exhibitions, education, and international exchange.
