'New Village Vision Community: Taiwan-Malaysia Community Building Academy' online seminar to launch in September

"New Village Vision Community: Taiwan-Malaysia Community Building Academy," co-organized by Minister of Culture and Culture Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Malaysia, planned and executed by New Village Vision Community and Muar River Times launched on Aug. 14 online, and the final event "Lecturer's Comments and Q&A" will take place on Sep. 4 and 5.

Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Malaysia and New Village Vision Community held the first Taiwan-Malaysia Community Building Academy in Pangkor Island, Perak, Malaysia in September 2020, which garnered enthusiastic response and support from the community.

The second Taiwan-Malaysia Community Building Academy in 2021 is planned and executed by the Muar River Times, a community building team in Muar, Johor, Malaysia. The Mahe area, Muar and Dongkap areas are used as the case study areas for this exchange project titled "Youth Cultivation (青年紮根力)."

"Youth Cultivation" will be divided into four seminars addressing four subtopics, inviting four Taiwanese instructors to share their experience, direction, and suggestions.

"Cultural and creative finance skills" and "sustainable development skills" will take place on September 4 from 10am to 11:30am, and from 2pm to 3:30pm, respectively.

"Social cultivation skills" and "coalition cooperative skills" will take place on September 5 from 10am to 11:30am, and from 2pm to 3:30pm, respectively.

It is hoped that through community building, the participants will develop more skills through communication, studying, sharing, and jointly solving the increasingly complex problems in addition to the diverse challenges currently faced by the community.
