The Association of Performing Arts Professionals (APAP) annual global conference –  APAP|NYC 2024 – concluded in New York on Jan. 16. The Taipei Cultural Center in New York and the National Taichung Theater (臺中國家歌劇院), along with Bulareyaung Dance Company (布拉瑞揚舞團) and Hung Dance (翃舞製作), exhibited participated in the event, promoting diverse and vibrant performing artists and groups from Taiwan.

As the world’s premier gathering of the performing arts presenting, booking and touring industry, the APAP|NYC 2024 was attended by over three thousand performing arts agents, program curators, and performing arts teams from around the globe.

The Bulareyaung Dance Company and Hung Dance are internationally recognized contemporary dance troupes from Taiwan. After engaging with international professionals through this event, the two groups developed their plans to tour around North America in 2024 and 2025.

The Taipei Cultural Center has been participating in the APAP conference for many years to raise the profile of the performing arts from Taiwan. They hope that through the annual congress to build connections and gain experiences, Taiwan’s performing arts will shine brightly on the international stage.
