Under "Taiwanese Cinema Renaissance 2020" section, four newly-produced Taiwanese films have been selected for the 33rd Tokyo International Film Festival running Oct. 31 through Nov. 9.
Craftsmanship in TaiwanWay, a main feature of the "Ciao! Taiwan Arts Festival," is underway in Hong Kong with exhibitions, videos, and workshops for visitors to have a better understanding of Taiwanese craftsmanship spirit.

Homecoming of Taiwanese sculptor’s work for restoration
Taiwanese prominent sculptor Huang Tu-shui (1895 - 1931), who made history by becoming the first Taiwanese to study arts in Japan, will have his work – a bust of Japanese politician Yamamoto Teijiro returned to Taiwan from Japan for restoration.
Hakka writer receives Oxford Prize for Taiwanese Writers
Veteran Hakka writer Sung Tse-lai, known as the driving force behind the promotion of Taiwanese literature and native consciousness, received the prestigious Oxford Prize for Taiwanese Writers from the Aletheia University.
